TAKE ME OUT TO THE BALL GAME.

Will some kind soul out there PLEASE bring me to a Mets game!??!? Their new ballpark, Citi Field, is set to open for their first exhibition games this Friday!!! It is an $800 million ballpark with starting tickets at $695/game (what a bargain compared to the Yankees at $2625/game!!!!). The real reason I want to go, which is the same as ANY reason I go to ANY sporting event, is for the FOOD!!!!! Looks like Citi Field really HOOKED IT UP for the Foodies.


There's the classy Delta Sky360 Club, the Acela Club, and the World's Fare Market (where you health-freaks can even get in your daily dose of sushi!!). In Taste of the City AKA DannyMeyerLand, they got a Shake Shack, Blue Smoke, El Verano Taqueria, Box Frites, Nonna's Deli, and Big Apple Brews.



Even more importantly, there is the Catch of the Day seafood stand owned by David Pasternack that serves $17-dollar lobster rolls!!!! UHMMMM cheapest lobster roll I have ever come across!!!!!!!! I couldn't find a picture of his lobster rolls, but judging by the fried flounder sandwich and clam chowder in above pictures - I'm guessing I would find a way to staple myself to this stand so that I could physically never leave.

If you want to be my best friend for life, you will find a way to get me to Queens to enter this magical culinary sports world.
